With every passing moment, if not the hour, the war on Iran by US and Israel is getting closer. The misnomer that Arab states would not provide their land and air to US to attack Iran has also fizzled out, quite understandable as it was, as Axios 1 has disclosed that Saudi crown Prince brother Khalid Bin Salman, who is also the defense minister of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has sought from US to attack Iran at the earliest ! He communicated in series of meetings with US Secretary of State and Acting National Security Adviser Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff at the White House. At least four-sources confirmed to Axios that Trump not bombing Iran would embolden regime.
US and Israel want regime of Ayatullah Khamenie be changed, Iran’s nuclear programme be brought to zero and install Raza Shah Pehelvi, as the ruler of Iran. Iran and Israel/US had gone to a 12-war in June 2025. By December 28, there was protests in Iran as US had devalued Iranian currency, and soon, it all got converted into widespread riots, Raza Shah made open provocations to plunder and burn government offices and kill security forces. Several thousands were killed. Iran could successfully quell the protests. US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln with ‘Armada’ along with ten more aircraft carriers have reached Iran’s waters. Last ditch efforts to anyhow stop the war are made, from Turkey, which want Iran should start to sell its oil to US companies. It may be only days when a full-fledged war is to begin.
One aspect of war is that if Iran goes down, all the 22 Arab states will make a headstart to accept Israel. Soon, there are to be Israel embassies in all the Arab lands. How Palestinians have been subjected to genocide by Israel, since Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, will be a passé. Israel knows it very well that no Arab nation, came forward to help Palestinians, except Iran, will also never help rescue Iran once the US and Israel onslaught is to begin. It is also clear, that soon, all the Arab states, which sing to the US tunes, will help US target Iran. Ironically, Arab states are asking Iran to not to target US military bases inside their countries. US is set to attack Iran from its largest Al Udeid military base in Qatar.
How many of us remember Israel’s Operation Grim Beeper, which took place on 17/18 September 2024, in which thousands of handheld pagers and hundreds of walkie-talkies intended for use by Hezbollah had exploded simultaneously. And then the war started. Hezbollah is supported by Iran. On the same lines Bandar Abbas, a coastal city in Iran, has found an explosion in an eight-floor building in which many have been left injured. The first three floors were seriously damaged. Similar explosions have occurred in Ahvaz, killing four people, Karaj and in Parand, near Iran’s capital Tehran, which Iran has altogether denied. Iran has declared that it all happened due to a gas explosion. This does not seem to be such an easy declaration as seven explosions, as claimed, have taken place almost simultaneously, and it is also being said that Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) top naval commander Alireza Tangsiri, has been killed. Iran denies it. It has been immediately declared by Israel that it has no role in it.
Israel intelligence agency Mossad has a huge network in Iran. Israel has made very successful killings right inside Iran’s boundaries. It has in the past killed Iran’s top military officers and its nuclear scientists etc. It is all likely that this time, after some months , it would come out that Mossad is again behind the series of these blasts. What matters here, is that Israel lauds such agents. As such on January 30, Israel newspaper Jpost 2 covered a whole interview of a Mossad agent, who admitted to have shot down an Iranian ballistic missile aimed towards Israel during the June war. His name Arash, a pseudonym, on Israel channel, claimed himself to be ‘Mossad eyes’. In his elaborate confession he informed about how he was groomed and trained inside Israel by Mossad and how finally he delivered for Israel. He specifically told that while he destroyed ballistic missile, he was constantly in touch with Mossad headquarters, until he was ordered to shoot at 3 am. It just cannot be ruled out that such elements might yet again be behind these targeted blasts in Iran this time too. Raza Shah Pehelvi has openly declared that if the regime goes, Iran was embrace Israel and put an end to its nuclear programme.
What matters here is to understand that in Iran, generally, there is a frugal life, and even military generals, or high profile scientists live without ostentations and have no flashy life styles. It is therefore, quite easy, to tap into their , cooks, maids, house-keeping staff or drivers, for information on their living or may be even after hacking their phones. It is also pertinent to know that during the whole riots, when Reza Shah Pehelvi, had exhorted to kill parliamentarians etc. yet Iran’s security forces successfully saved any such high-profile personality to be killed, therefore, it is quite unlikely, that Iran’s Naval Chief, might have been killed in the target. It is ironic that together with Israel’s denial, Israel has also claimed that around 14 blasts have occurred in seven cities.
The overall situation is getting murkier. There is no doubt left that this time US is not to share any information with Arab allies towards its attack plan. US will first try to target Iran nuclear sites, destroy Iran’s missile launching sites, kills IRGC leadership and Ayatullah Khamenie etc. US in fact wants a swift war but then Iran is also to retaliate, as Iran has also sought that it would be its last war. Iran will also lock-down Straits of Hormuz, which will have a massive impact of oil prices, and what if there are casualties from US side. China and Russia is out there to help Iran have real time intelligence of US aircraft and military movement.
Perhaps, it is a matter of time, that once the war is to begin, it will be ‘no hold barred’ as it will spill out in the region. Let’s see what is to happen as US as the sole superpower reputation is at its worst stake.
