Kashmir24 is looking for people who want to tell Kashmir's story accurately. We cover Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Azad Kashmir, human rights, and minorities in India. We are building a team of contributors, interns and volunteers from Kashmir, Pakistan and around the world.
Who can join
- Reporters / Correspondents: report news from your district or city, or cover events and press conferences.
- Content Writers: write news stories, explainers and summaries in clear English.
- Bloggers and Columnists: share opinion and analysis on Kashmir, the region and human rights.
- Researchers: work on human-rights data, policy reviews and background research.
- International Relations students: internships in conflict analysis, the UN and diplomacy.
- Media & Mass Communication students and graduates: hands-on newsroom experience in reporting, editing, social media and video.
- Final-semester university students: internships that can support your degree requirements.
- Volunteers: translation (Urdu, English, Kashmiri, Pahari), social media, design and fact-checking.
- Supporters and donors: people who want to support independent reporting for the Kashmir cause.
