Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hundreds of Daily Wagers and Casual Labourers took to the streets in Srinagar today, staging a protest at the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) to demand regularization of their services and release of pending wages.
According to Kashmir24, tthe protesters, comprising contractual employees and daily wagers, voiced their frustration over years of job insecurity and irregular payments.
Daily wage workers from various government departments were stopped by police near Radio Kashmir Srinagar as they marched towards the National Conference headquarters, demanding immediate regularization of their services.
