Srinagar: Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, paid rich tributes to Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) on his martyrdom anniversary, describing him as one of the most towering personalities of Islam whose life embodied knowledge, courage, justice, humility and deep devotion to Allah.
According to Kashmir24, delivering a sermon at Aastane Aliya Dastgeer Sahib, Sarai Bala, Srinagar, Mirwaiz said that Hazrat Ali (RA) remains a timeless example of piety, wisdom and steadfastness for the Muslim Ummah.
He emphasized that the sacrifices of Hazrat Ali (RA) remind Muslims of the struggles faced by the early companions of the Prophet (PBUH) in upholding truth and justice in the face of adversity. “His teachings and legacy hold particular relevance today when the Muslim world is passing through difficult and turbulent times,” he added.
Expressing deep concern over the suffering and instability in parts of the Muslim world, especially tensions in the Middle East and Iran, the Mirwaiz urged the Ummah to draw inspiration from the life of Hazrat Ali (RA), who stood firmly for justice, unity and righteousness.
