Youm-ul-Badr commemorated at Srinagar Jamia Masjid; tributes paid to Mirwaiz Yousuf Shah (RA)

 

Srinagar: Youm-ul-Badr, marking the historic Battle of Badr, was observed today at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where Quran Khwani and remembrance meeting was held on the occasion of the 58th death anniversary of Mufassir-e-Qur’an Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Yousuf Shah (RA).

According to Kashmir24, the gathering was attended by APHC senior leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, along with other ulema and scholars, including Maulana Showkat Keng, who paid rich tributes to the life and legacy of the late Mirwaiz.

Speaking on the occasion, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq highlighted the significance of Youm-ul-Badr, describing it as a defining moment when faith and steadfastness led to the triumph of truth over falsehood, and urged Muslims to strengthen their unity and moral resolve.
