According to Kashmir24, the deceased has been identified as Anderson John David, a resident of Washington, D.C. He reportedly fell unconscious this morning and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Officials said that the body was later shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for medico-legal formalities.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
