Cockroach Janta Party demands resignation of Indian CEC

Dipke threats protests if he doesn't resign within 48 hours

New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party, a youth-led organization in India, has demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and threatened to launch nationwide protests.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Abhijit Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, addressing a press conference in New Delhi, labelled Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar as the “biggest anti-India” and demanded his immediate resignation. He warned that if the Chief Election Commissioner did not resign within 48 hours, nationwide protests would be held.

He further stated that a ‘Jantar Mantar 2.0’ event would be organized. He added that Gyanesh Kumar poses a threat to the country’s democracy; while democracy entails the public choosing the government, ever since Kumar became Chief Election Commissioner, the Modi government has been deciding “who will vote and who will not.”
