Dozens Muslims booked, arrested in pro-Pakistan slogan case in UP

 

Bareilly (UP),: Indian police lodged an FIR against over four dozen Muslims and arrested six people for raising pro-Pakistan slogans in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh state.

According to Kashmir24, Indian police lodged an FIR against over four dozen people, including Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) members, in connection with the pro-Pakistan slogans raised in a busy market in Bareilly city.

The main warrant was lodged against Kashif, son of former corporator Tahseen, who is allegedly associated with Maulana Tauqeer Raza’s Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC). Maulana Tauqeer Raza has been lodged in jail since September 27 last year, after being arrested in Bareilly on September 26 over an “I Love Mohammad” poster.
