Mirwaiz urges faith, unity, and patience amid challenges in IIOJK

 

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has urged people to move away from despair and embrace hope and faith, describing Ramazan as a month of spiritual renewal and collective reform.

According to Kashmir24, Mirwaiz was addressing thousands of worshippers, including a large number of women, gathered at the historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar today to offer congregational prayers on the first Friday of the holy month of Ramazan. The occasion was marked by deep spirituality and devotion, reflecting the enduring faith and unity of the Kashmiri people.

The Mirwaiz highlighted that the Jamia Masjid has, for centuries, symbolized faith, unity, patience, and steadfastness for the people of Kashmir, and said that the sacred month provides an opportunity to reconnect with these enduring values.
