Chandigarh: An explosion outside the Hindutva Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in Chandigarh, the capital of the Indian state of Punjab, has damaged the office building and spread panic across the area.
According to Kashmir24, security authorities immediately sealed the site, and officials have withheld details regarding casualties. Local sources described the blast as of medium intensity.
Chandigarh SSP reported that a loud explosion was heard, prompting police teams rush to the scene. She added that investigations are ongoing.
