IIOJK court acquits five youth in 15-yr-old false case after long legal ordeal

 

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Kashmiri youths often endure years of imprisonment and prolonged legal battles in fabricated cases before being eventually acquitted by courts. In yet another such case, a court has acquitted five youths after 15 years of legal proceedings.

According to Kashmir24, an Islamabad district court cleared Abdul Rehman Butt, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Zafar Ahmad Wani, Abdul Rashid Wani, and Javed Ahmad Ansari of all charges.

The case of Abdul Rehman Butt was represented by Advocate Arjumand Reshi, while the remaining four were defended by Advocate Riaz Ahmad Ganai in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Masarat Roohi.
